We understand that it takes more than one person to assist you with all of your orthopedic needs. It truly takes a team approach. We are fortunate to offer patients what we believe to be the best medical staff in the Richmond area. In addition to Dr. Wind, the team members below will play an integral role in your care.
Chris Mahan PA-C
Chris is a certified Physician Assistant. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware.
Chris worked with high school and college athletes for several years in the Richmond area as a Certified Athletic Trainer before returning to school to become a PA. He completed his graduate work and Masters Degree at James Madison University in 2011.
Chris assists Dr. Wind with seeing patients in office as well as in the hospital setting. He plays a vital role in providing complete care to our patients and is an excellent resource for patient questions and concerns.
Amber Sykes PA-C
Amber is a certified Physician Assistant with over 15 years of experience in Orthopedics. She received her undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University. She then completed her graduate degree as a certified Physician Assistant at Wake Forest University.
Previous to working with Dr Wind she was the director of all OrthoVirginia After Hours acute care clinics. She began her current role with Dr Wind in 2014 and is critical to patient care both in the office and hospital settings. She brings a wealth of experience to her clinical interactions and consistently receives the highest marks with regard to care and bedside manner.
